Instant File Share is designed with privacy at its core. We believe file sharing should be simple, fast, and private. This policy explains how we handle your data when you use our service.
Data We Collect
Files: When you upload a file, we temporarily store it on our servers to enable sharing. Files are automatically deleted after 30 minutes.
Metadata: We collect basic metadata including file name, size, and type to provide the service. This data is deleted along with your files.
No Account Data: Instant File Share does not require registration. We do not collect email addresses, names, or any personal identifiers.
How We Use Your Data
- To temporarily store and deliver your files to recipients
- To display file information (name, size, type) on the download page
- To enforce file size limits and ensure service stability
Data Retention
All uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted 30 minutes after upload. We do not keep copies or backups of your files. Once deleted, files cannot be recovered.
Data Security
Files are transmitted over HTTPS encryption. Our servers use industry-standard security practices. Each file is assigned a unique, randomly generated ID that is practically impossible to guess.
Third-Party Services
Your Files: We do not sell, share, or provide your files to any third parties. Your uploaded files remain private and are only accessible to those with the share link.
Advertising Partners: We partner with Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may collect information about your browsing behavior for ad personalization purposes. See the "Cookies and Tracking" and "Third-Party Advertising" sections below for more details.
Infrastructure Providers: Our hosting and storage providers (Cloudflare R2 and Netlify) may have access to data solely for the purpose of providing infrastructure services. All data is encrypted in transit.

Essential Cookies: Instant File Share uses minimal cookies solely for essential functionality such as maintaining your session and preferences.
Your Rights
You can delete your uploaded files at any time before they expire using the delete button on the file page. Since we don't collect personal information, there is no personal data to request or delete.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
